Brits and French Battle in Final Paddle

FRA Caffte UPS Maurien/Vanois, GBR adidas TERREX, and FRA Raidlight just passed by Cojimies on the final paddle section.
Team Caffte UPS Maurien/Vanois was paddling strong, but seemed to still be holding a grudge about the penalty as Anne-Marie Dunhill reported. They chose to tether their boats in order to work as a single paddling organism.
Next up came Team adidas. Sally was in the front of the pack paddling with a big smile. They appeared in good spirits and maintaining a lot of strength this late in the race.
Ten minutes behind was Team Raidlight. They had a different paddling strategy, allowing one person in each boat to rest while the people in front paddled. They were also dealing with a broken paddle that must now be used like a short canoe paddle. Not ideal for a 59km paddle section.
It will take a lot of effort to change the finish lineup, but it's still certainly possible. By tonight we should know who finishes in 4th, 5th and 6th places.
