The Gear Junkie website in the USA teamed up with YouTube Creator Jimmy the Giant to follow them at the Stubborn Mule Adventure Race and this is his take on the world of Adventure Racing, from an outsider's point of view.
"I teamed up with GearJunkie to explore the insane world of Adventure racing, aka expedition racing. Dating back to its origins, all the way up to the revival of World's Toughest Race: Eco-Challenge Fiji with Bear Grylls."
He talks about AR history, but be warned, that section is very US biased.
The video has nearly 45,000 views so far, so it's introducing the sport to a new audience who know nothing about it or had probably never heard of it.
