The « Grande Traversée » is an extreme adventure race in south France.
2 Days to cross the south France in the department of VAR (between Nice and Marseille) with 250 km.

There are a few raid series teams and French elite military.
Sections are:
v Sea kaying (40km)
v Mountain biking (130km)
v Inline skating (25 km)
v Trail running (40km)
