Wine at the finish line! We've partnered with the folks at Early Mountain Vineyards in Madison, VA to bring you a fun-filled day of trail running, mountain biking, and then settling in with a fine Virginia wine in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains on a Sunday afternoon. We've called it the Grapes of Rad, but we aren't expecting a Dust Bowl scenario, wrath, or "trampling out the vintage," but there WILL be some radness and Okies are certainly welcome.

​Early Mountain, part of the Monticello Wine Trail, is set on a historical site with gorgeous grounds and a downright awesome tasting room. The onsite trails you'll be hitting up are a perfect length for a single loop 5K and two loop 10K course, and mountain bikers will complete as many laps as possible in the allotted time for their division. Most laps and fastest times determine MTB placing. 
We will capture race times with our bib chip timing system as you enjoy the private trails at Early Mountain Vineyards in beautiful Madison, Virginia. Friends and family can lay out blankets and chairs, purchase food from the winery, partake in a wine tasting, and still be on hand to cheer you on throughout the race! And once you've crossed the finish line, enjoy the included Early Mountain wine tasting (4 wines!) in a take-home stemless glass.
