Set in the high alpine of the ruggedly beautiful Crowsnest Pass AB, against the continental divide, a new adventure experience awaits
The Minotaur is approximately 15-20 km of demanding mountain terrain, but it’s not a trail race. Competitors will use their mental and physical stamina to overcome natural challenges along the course, but it’s not an obstacle course race. The route will be sparsely marked, and competitors will test their route finding skills along a changing landscape, but this isn’t an adventure race.
So what is the Minotaur? It’s the chance to find out who you are and what you’re really made of.
We’ve designed a race course that is as vicious as it is beautiful, and as soul crushing as it is soul satisfying. Mountains will be climbed, ridges will be traversed, and new highs – and lows – will be attained in the lonely alpine.
This is an individual race where you’ll rely on speed, stamina and skill to overcome a series of natural elements in a wilderness setting.
