Irish Adventure Racing Championships
Length: 30 hours
Location: Kilarney, Co Kerry
This is the fourth of five events to be organised by Adventure Ireland along with Brian Elliott of Adventure Sports One. Killarney has the largest of Ireland's mountains nearby and this will be a tough event. At the moment the first four races are intended as an introductory event to the sport with the last one being the Irish Championships Race and also a points scorer in the British Championships. The main Category will be a mixed team of four but there will also be teams of two, male, female and mixed.
The three races in the South of Ireland will be a non-stop format designed to take the course planner about 26 hours to complete and a further 10 hours will be added to allow all to finish.
