This first AROC Adventure of the 2007-08 season is part of the week-long Brindabella Challenge Cycling Festival. The new format of the AROC Adventure Races now allows for everyone to find an event appropriate for their fitness level. A brand new Novice Course has been added which only covers a portion of the total course and is great for beginners, kids, people doubting their ability to complete the classic course, or just those who don\'t want to push themselves too hard the first time around! As before, teams of 3 navigate around a secret course and find their way from checkpoint to checkpoint on foot, bike and kayak. The Classic course is of course still available and advanced competitive racers will be rewarded with extra bonus legs at the end of the classic race! This event has an added twist since it takes place in the evening and teams have to navigate in the dark: this is definitely a great opportunity to prove that adventure racing is not all about speed, and that orientation is important too!
