Malham Show Trailquest

Location: Yorkshire Dales National Park surrounding Mal
Organised by Malham Show. Sponsored by Malham Youth Hostel (YHA) and prizes from Chevin Cycles, Carradice Cycle Bags and Karrimor.
A Mountain Bike Orienteering event run in the usual Trailquest format with 2 and 4-hour events.
Event HQ (GR 899625) will be on the show ground as last year, (Look for the Sheep Trailer) please park at the far end of the show ground in the field above the Yorkshire Dales National Park car park in Malham (Malham is 10 miles north west of Skipton). Control sites will be all around the extensive network of bridleways and quiet lanes surrounding Malham.
People entering the Trailquest will get free entry to the show ground (normally £6 for adults). Organisers hope that people will see this as a complete day out, bringing families to see the show (under 16 get in for free), while one parent does the event.
Malham show is regarded as one of the best shows in Northern England. On the show ground you can see sheep dog trials, heavy horse championships, birds of prey, dry stone walling and many other rural pursuits. Entry Fee( GBP ) 12.00/24.00/12.00
