Adventure Marlborough is a non-profit 24hr style adventure race, which is being held in the Marlborough area on the 14th and 15th of November 2008. This race is arguably NZ’s toughest 24hr race. Even if you are experienced don’t expect to knock it off it less than 18hrs, so be prepared for challenging navigation over a variety of terrain. Adventure Marlborough 2008 involves mixed teams of four navigating while mountain biking, kayaking, trekking and a bit of rope work, non-stop over the 24hr period. Teams must move together and help each other to complete each stage. Barring major disaster all teams should finish the full course as long as you are determined. The name of this race says it all.
