The Thunder Rolls Adventure Race

Location: The Galena Territory in Northwest Illinois
The 12th annual, "Thunder Rolls", 12 and 24 hour adventure race will continue to follow the trails, waterways, and migration routes of the Sauk and Fox Indians of the 1830's. This years course will be in "Galena Country" of Northern Illinois. The expedition style, unsupported race will involve paddling, trail running, trekking, mountain biking, navigation, orienteering, coasteering, and multiple fixed ropes. The 100+ mile course is located in state parks, state forests, multiple historic sites, and on private property. This is an all new course in locations never before accessed.
