City Chase Chicago 2007 was reviewed as one of the best events in the city last year and this year\'s version will be even better! City Chase is a one-day urban adventure race that NBC Chicago has billed as \"A real-life reality TV show...Think Fear Factor meets Amazing Race.\" Part scavenger hunt and part obstacle course, City Chase is a full day of navigating around Chicago on foot and using the CTA to compete in physical, mental and humorous challenges. Challenges from last year’s Chicago event had participants rappelling down a high profile tower, bowling in the nude, holding live snakes and alligators and so much more. Charity is an important component of the event as well—last year Chicago participants raised over $8,000 for Special Olympics doing tasks for strangers on the street!

The team with the best time will go on to represent Chicago in the 2008 US National Championships. The winners of the US National Championships will represent the entire US in the \'08 World Championships.
