Hey, here’s a good-news story in these days of economic crisis!

Hey, here’s a good-news story in these days of economic crisis: Organizers of the AbuDhabi Adventure Challenge are lowering the entry fee by €1,000! This brings the entry fee down to €2,500 per team of four (that’s about US$3275).

Considering that they are offering €200,000 in cash prizes, with prizes paying all the way down to 30th place (starting at €40,000 for the winners), this makes it not only one of the most affordable races on the international circuit - but it also means that teams have a pretty good chance at making the costs of their entrance fees back.

The race is run by the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority, and it is organized by many of the same team who have brought world-class events such as the Raid World Series to us. Expect a well funded and well organized race, for mixed-sex teams of four, and disciplines that include: Sea Kayaking, Camel Hiking, Cross Orienteering, Mountain Biking, Adventure Running, Rope Activities, and In Line Skating.

The race takes place December 4th to 9th in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. For more info, visit their website:www.abudhabi-adventure.com.
