The Bitter Pill 2014
24.05.2014

The Green Mountain Adventure Racing Association (GMARA) is running the 11th Bitter Pill on the 2nd August 2014, and wants to show what Vermont outdoors is really all about. The plan is to challenge competitors over the toughest, muddiest 12-hour races anywhere - trek, swim, paddle, mt bike, and navigate your way around - and get yourself an entry to USARA Nationals if you win!
Past years have seen everything from pouring rain and swollen rivers to baking heat, but accelerated cutoffs mean even beginners can finish with the pack and have a great time. The course designers make it their mission to get you lost and damaged - if you don't want to work for it, are you sure you're in the right sport?
