In the centre of the South American continent, south of the Amazon basin and east of the Andes, lies an immense landlocked river delta where annual floodwaters regularly rise several meters and then recede. This is where ARWC Pantanal BRASIL will happen, in a pristine and biologically rich environment which is one of the great wonders of the natural world
The athletes will have the opportunity to travel trough an area untouched by any humans before. One of the mysteries of the Pantanal region, Serra do Amolar, very distant and secret, nestled between Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul and the Bolivian border will host 70% of the course. Teams coming should be prepared for a lot of paddling on a 600-700km course!
The course will be open for 7 days and include;
- Trekking
- Mtb
- Paddling
- Ropes Sections
- Swimming
- Traditional Local Canoes
- And Very Technical Navigation
* there may be new disciplines according to opportunities
Host City: Corumbá - Mato Grosso Do Sul!
