Kong Vinter Adventure Race
A True Winter Challenge at the Montane Kong Vinter

The Montane Kong Vinter is one of the biggest Adventure Races in Denmark and this year it takes place on January 13th, making it a true winter race. The race area for 2018 will be around Stevns, which is about an hour from Copenhagen Airport and the course will offer a great way to explore Denmark.
Danish elite racers are always on the start line for Kong Vinter and many international team have taken part in the race in the past. These include Multisport.fi, Sweco, Ace Estonian Adventure, USWE Adventure Team and FJS.
The Masters route has an estimated winning time of 14 hours while the Challenge and Junior classes will be won in about 8 hours. The race includes running, mountain biking, climbing, coasteering and a kayaking stage.
Both distances have a maximum time of 23 hours, which allows most teams to complete the entire route and to make things easier for visitor it is possible to rent bikes at the race.
The race is organised by Lars Bukkehave who has over 15 years of Adventure race experience from over 100 races and 10 ARWS events.
