We are pleased to announce that Garmin is joining our project with the Enduro GPS Sports Watch as the Official Watch of the Adventure Racing World Championship. A challenge like Raid Gallaecia - AR World Championship, which will be held from October 2 to 9 with more than 600 kilometers of route in Galicia (Spain), requires excellent physical and mental preparation.
For this, Garmin has Enduro, the sports watch with GPS that becomes the ideal companion for extreme resistance athletes, designed so that distances and hours are not an obstacle.
The solar charging glass 'Power Glas's, patented and developed by Garmin, harnesses the energy of the sun, allows you to take battery life to another level and enjoy up to 80 hours in GPS mode, up to 300 hours in maximum battery use mode with GPS and up to 65 days in smartwatch mode with solar charging.
Enduro is designed to compete. Its weight of only 71 grams in the steel version and 61 grams in the titanium version, makin it a very light device, for truly epic racing situations, it has a 1.4 ”screen, always active and optimized for sunlight that ensures comfortable viewing, even on the move.
Built to endure, Enduro is a rugged, weather-resistant device with a lightweight, scratch-resistant black DLC-coated titanium or stainless steel bezel. In addition, it has a sports strap made of super light, elastic, adjustable and durable nylon.
Stay fit with Enduro, thanks to the improved recovery timer that indicates recommended recovery times or the VO2 max trail function, which analyzes and determines cardiovascular fitness based on different terrain and trail conditions. Plus, with the enhanced ClimbPro ™ feature Trail athletes will be able to manage their effort in the ascents and descents of the route, thanks to the information on the slope, the distance and the unevenness of the remaining terrain in each ascent and descent.
With Enduro you will find your way, even away from the established routes, thanks to the high precision navigator compatible with various GNSS systems to enjoy better tracking in the most demanding environments than if you only use the GPS system. It also includes built-in ABC sensors: altimeter with elevation data, barometer, and three-axis compass.
The 400 athletes who will compete for the world title in the Raid Gallaecia - AR World Championship will be able to obtain an unlimited performance and reach the furthest goals with Garmin Enduro, the official watch of the event.
