Arctic Team Challenge
Over and out.

There may be other places to adventure race among majestic peaks, rushing streams, impressive glaciers, deep fjords, crystal clear lakes and spectacular views but – they are definitely all found at the Arctic Team Challenge. There may be other races with intense MTB tracks, beautiful glacier traverses, hard mountain running, tactical assignments and canoe paddling, which are well organised and professionally carried out, but – they are definitely at the heart of the Arctic Team Challenge.
But two elements take the Arctic Team Challenge to another level – icebergs and atmosphere!
The slowly melting, yet violently calving icebergs give the already incredible natural environment an extra dimension. The icebergs add colour and depth, giving the rough landscape an inner silence. Their almost living charisma and mystique makes Ammassalik Island, East Greenland, a fantastic place for adventure racing.
“You feel… - respect when you pass an iceberg! Lars Bom, Team for Life
The atmosphere of the Arctic Team Challenge is awesome! From the first day, the race officials and the local people of Tasiilaq have been smiling and obliging. And their good nature rubs off on everybody. The teams have, due to the stage-concept of the race, had time to chat, joke, tease, learn, talk and get to know each other. Everybody at the Arctic Team Challenge has been in a good mood – no matter if you were an official, a winner, unranked or a squad struggling at the very end – that speaks for itself!
A very intimate race … there is thought and soul behind it … good food, coffee and cosiness! Team ARD Guddi.
Don’t miss the Arctic Team Challenge 05 from July 14-25 2005.
