Ertips Win the First Adventure Race Croatia

56 hours and 6 minutes was the time it took for French team Ertips of Sam Hubert, Clement Eldin, Stephanie Bianchi, Julien David Barranger to win the inaugural Adventure Race Croatia. Leading throughout the second half of the race they crossed the finish line in Petrcane, Croatia just before dawn. They said on the finish line “We are a little tired, we have slept only one hour since Wednesday evening”
The last (and 17th) leg of the race was an 11km ocean kayak on the Zadar Channel. As Intersport Slovenia AR Team were starting this leg the team said “The message to the race director is perfect organisation and congratulations to all teams.” They went on to finish in second place, 3 hours and 54 minutes behind the winners.
In third place was Slovenian team Pustolovec Rajd II of Barbara JoliÄ, Jure Zmrzlikar, Franci SokliÄ, Jure ÄŒebašek in 63 hours and 15 minutes.
