Racing Day and Night - The Long Stage

The competitors left the coast for two days and one night of mountain racing. Corsica is a real mountain in the sea and the competitors will be able to realize that it is not a myth but the reality.
A chain of madness in the heart of the Niolu mountains for the participants of Corsica Raid Aventure 2019. The departure was given this morning from the mountain village of Calacuccia for a long section of mountain bike of about thirty kilometers which will train the raiders until 'to Casamaccioli and the splendid forest of Poppaghja. Long rolling tracks with vertiginous slopes have allowed the more experienced to glean precious minutes. The gaps have widened since this morning and the first teams are already engaged in the next event, a section of canyoning in the canyon of Frascaghu.
A very beautiful canyon, which flows into the Valdu Niellu pine forest and has offered competitors a succession of jumps and slides in crystal clear basins. The cold snow-covered mountains of the mountains that the competitors discovered while climbing caught the competitors at the moment of the first jump! The emotion was there because to start in a wild canyon in an adventure race is always a magic moment and competitors from around the world discover all the flavor thanks to the Corsica Raid Adventure.
It is in trail that the competitors go up from the bottom of the canyon and find their assistance to resume their mountain bike and leave in the superb environment of Niolu. And there, after a long time again, good tracks, it is also on much more technical parts that the best riders will make the difference.
It's beautiful, extreme, unforgettable and by crossing the teams, many participants told us that they had never made a mountain bike stage as beautiful and varied. The last part descends slowly to Albertacce where the teams will rest a few hours before the start of the night stage, mythical race on the Corsica Raid Adventure. At the end, the winner of this stage is the team Red Arras Liam!
