Giddiup trots along toward the finish

Dave Wood and his team mates from GIddiup were in great spirits when I spoke to them mid morning on Monday, and were trotting along portaging their kayaks on the bike they took with them.

Scared off paddling after the horrendous conditions they had on the first paddle (the lowlight for the team) they paddled the first 20km and then set up their bike to carry the boats for the remainder.

They were ecstatic about the number of messages they've been receiving from their supporters, blown away that so many epople were keeping track of them.

Looking forward to finishing . . .
