A Lot of Adventure For a Small Price
Press Release / 28.08.2019
The 16th edition of Wenger Czech Adventure Race begins last Thursday of August!
The organizers have set up a route about 400km long. Aside from the outdoor classics of trekking, MTB and canoes the teams will face rope disciplines and caving. The special discipline for Czechia is Bolscross – a strenuous obstacle course in hilly forest involving swimming, rappelling, etc.
The Wenger CZAR starts with coasteering – orienteering with some swimming. It might be fun even for spectators watching 70 racers with floating mattresses or other swimming stuff.
The head of Wenger Czech Adventure Race, Tomas Vanek, said: “Although the route leads quite close to Prague, the nature is marvelous and diverse.“ And he continued: “It should be hot and sunny but hopefully the weather will be less mischievous than two years ago when the temperatures suddenly dropped 20 degrees Celsius and rained for two days nonstop.“
This Adventure Race definitely belongs to the less expensive ones. The start fee is only EUR 600 per team and the the racers get a high quality route made by professional and skilled organizers and lot of outdoor fun.
On Friday night, participants of the MINI Adventure Race will join the Wenger CZAR racers. The MINI Adventure Race is 18 hours long and covers roughly 150km.
