Along the way many teams have shortened the course by missing mandatory deadlines and/or electing not to participate in a discipline. The leader board does not reflect these penalty’s or any time credits for teams who have taken time to assist others along the way.
The process is that a jury reviews the passports as they are turned in at the end of the race to determine if a penalty is assessed or if there is justifiable reason for them to have missed a deadline.
For example one team missed a deadline, they will not be charged with the penalty however because they spent 4 hours assisting another team. The information will be updated as I recive it.
