Mini Marathon at the Barkley

From the Bandy Creek Campground the teams have or will transition to bikes for a ride to Frozen Head State Park, home of the infamous Barkley Marathon – “world’s hardest ultra marathon� where they will compete in their own mini marathon.

Along the way on this 60 mile section of the course they will also transition to a trail run and navigation course and then return to their bikes. The next transition will be at CP 17/ACP4.
