Adventure Girl Challenge Race Report

The very first Adventure Girl Challenge took place last weekend in Livermore California and it was a HUGE success!  There were 50 teams of either 2 or 3 that participated. The weather was gorgeous, with not a cloud in the sky!

 The day started out with registration opening at 8:00am, along with the Mother/Daughter Challenge being open.  The Mother/Daughter Challenge was a special course set up right at the main venue and included 5 different special tests.  Kids under 10 and their mom’s went thru the course and then each of the kids got a special prize.  There were about 25 different groups of Mom’s and their kids  that went thru the course.

The main event started shortly after 11:00 with all the teams being divided into 2 groups, one group would kayak first and the other group would mountain bike first......only at the last minute were the team captains made aware of what group their team was in!
