Gowrie Park Midcamp and It\'s All Go....

Resting being used very loosely, Gowrie Park currently has 8 teams in house 3 of which (Orion Adventure.com of NZ, Team 4 Cancer of Aus and Discovery Powered by Velvet.org.nz) are due to leave within minutes on the Trek over Mt Roland.

All will be hoping to get through a decent part of this in daylight hours. They can take comfort in the fact that they have had a good rest and are refuelled ready to go.(AROC Mountain Designs time for this leg was about 7hrs.)

The remaining teams placed 6th to 10th will be allowed to leave anywhere between 1815hrs and and 20.36hrs this evening, which for them should hopefully mean they will be hitting the Overland Track at some point tomorrow in daylight hours, of course depending on the severity of the MTB after the Trek.

The rest of the field are off the flat water paddle and making their way to Gowrie Park Midcamp and no doubt will be looking forward to a bit of a rest and refuel for weary aching bodies.
