Every team has a story and a reason for participating in XPD 2006. Team ‘Team 4 Cancer’ has theirs and this team is doing it for more than just their own enjoyment and personal challenge.

As in their team internet bio, ‘Team 4 Cancer’ said that, “our motivation is we are doing the race as an official fundraiser for the Cancer Council and we would love for people to donate as much as they can to this worthy cause.�

When asked why they chose to take this focus, Simon’s response was simple and clear, “too many of my friends are dying of cancer.�
