POZO AZUL-MUNDO AVENTURA wins on Day 5!!

POZO AZUL - MUNDO AVENTURA (CR)made it into Junquillal Beach today, winners of Costa Rica´s Coast to Coast expedition race, about 5:30 pm, looking strong and happy, and only about 2 hours ahead of AVENTURAS DE SARAPIQUI (CR). I just saw SARAPIQUI on the road as I dashed into town to send off the report, and they should be arriving on the beach as I write.
The two teams have battled for the lead throughout this race. We hear that BATTERY (CR) and WHICKED NEARA/NEMO (USA) are both on their bikes now, and battling for third place. We will probably see them here some time tonight.
