Squaw Valley Mountain Run
Squaw Valley Mountain Run again for another year
18.07.2006

The Squaw Valley Mountain Run is a strenuous 3.6-mile course that climbs 2,000-feet to an elevation of 8,500 feet. Since 1981, hundreds of participants have challenged the mountain while some sprint the entire course; last year's best time was 32:18, while others hike at their own pace.
This year, a new activity has been added to the Mountain Run list of options: The Valley Nature Walk. The Valley Nature Walk is perfect for those interested in experiencing the beauty of Squaw Valley without the strenuous 2,000-foot climb to High Camp. The Nature Walk course features a variety of gently sloping trails through Olympic Valley, starting and finishing at the Village at Squaw. Award ceremonies and festivities for all three events will be held at the Village at Squaw.
