Saturday 9am Race Update

All but two of the twenty-three teams have now made it onto the first bike leg. Team 27 Rocket Sturgeons was the last team to arrive at CP1 on the trek but are in good condition and stated it was poor route finding that slowed their progress. They still remain on the trek section along with team 30 Stadium Dogs.

In the lead is team 15 Banff Lodging Co dot com who started the paddle at around 8am. Also heading out to the rappel/paddle section are teams 18 DARTnuun and 35 Wild Rose.

On the race course organization side things were a little hectic this morning when the truck with the canoe trailer got stuck near the boat drop. Fortunately staff and volunteers were able to get the truck out and the race is proceeding smoothly.
