A team composed on an Adventure journalist, Frederik Olmqvist and a triathlon and “multiple sports� race fan. It’s the first time they come to the West Indies; they are ambitious and want to know a new culture.

Two cheerful guys, who only look for the positive things in life; for them, adventure racing is a good way to push back their limits … for some years they’ve acquired experience to compete with the best teams. You can be sure, that they are coming for pleasure, discovery and adventure.
03. TEAM TSL OUTDOOR // FRANCE
Passionate by technical and endurance activities, Vincent and Patrick are specialised in “multiple sports� race. Their spare time is devoted to their passion; they train hard to be ready for the 24th; they were already very motivated, even before coming in Guadeloupe.
04. TEAM TEVA LA PINILLA // SPAIN
Antonio de la Rosa is an authentic adventurer … 12 years of experience in adventure racing; he organises races himself in Spain. His teammate, Sonia is an accomplished sportswoman.
05. TEAM ROCK AND RAPID ADVENTURE // UK
They are young but experienced. Simon is a climbing and kayak instructor… Passionate of adventure sports, they take part to a lot of events and they founded an adventure travel agency, called like their team… They will propose Guadeloupe in their catalogue thanks to IGWA.
06. TEAM WAX’UP GIRLS // GUADELOUPE
A sporty women’s team composed of Laurence, kite-surf and windsurf champion of Guadeloupe, and Frédérique, French Surfing vice-champion and diving instructor… Fond of adventures, sports, challenges and nature, they are happy to rediscover the island where they live.

The goal of Sportera is to promote Sustainable development and to bring awareness to corporations with regard to preservation of the environment, through adventure sport. The team is led by, the well-known adventurer, Karim Benarmouche, with Nicolas Guitton, his teammate.

A team composed by an Adventure and travel magazine journalist and a lawyer father of quadruplet!! Passionate of all outdoors sport and competition, they wish to increasingly live their passion. Thanks to IGWA, they hope to gain experience and discover a land, a language, and a culture unlike theirs.

They were dreaming of the archipelago of Guadeloupe, IGWA gave them the opportunity to discover that territory … Adventurers and experienced sportsmen they are really motivated and count the days before the race.
10. TEAM SXM ADVENTURE // SAINT-MARTIN
Dentist and gendarme from Saint-Martin, these two specialists of adventure racing have been getting ready for weeks to be on top of their condition. They are practising to improve on their weaker sports, and all the island of Saint-Martin will support them …
