The Weather – Balmy and Bright Blue

Chris Archer / 09.12.2007See All Event Posts Follow Event
With just a few hours to go before the start of the inaugural Abu Dhabi Adventure Challenge, the weather is “business as usual.

Tomorrow morning at 09:00, when the 26 teams line up for the start, the weather will be just as expected for this time of the year: clear blue skies and bright sunshine unhindered by haze or cloud. With temperatures between 22°C and 29°C and humidity at around 35%, the light westerly breeze blowing at 18km/h will help cool the teams as they embark on the first leg of the race in their spanking new sea supplied by the organisation.

The athletes should have a pleasant first night, in their bivouacs on the islands dotting the Arabian Gulf coastline, as temperatures are expected to stay above 22°C beneath a partially cloudy sky.
