Navigator Suunto 1 and Bazen Liberec win Salomon Adventure Cup

It is an ordinary evening in a Czechoslovakian lakeshore camp. A fat man rolls on his belly in his tent. Sun burned people have already left the beach and are getting drunk in a local pub. It is too cold for swimming, too dark for sunbathing.

But a bunch of weird people are pushing their bikes to a wooden enclosure and they are dressed in swimming suits. They probably went crazy. They line up under a big yellow arc. Local drunks are complaining about the noise that can wake the supposedly sleeping kids, who are in fact still playing on the merry-go-round. Someone shouts: “three, two, one, start�, and this bunch of people runs barefoot to the beach and jumps into water. And thus started Czech Salomon Adventure Cup.

Czech Salomon Adventure Cup (or shortly SAC) was a third race in a Polish-Czech series of weekend adventure races called AR Cup. It took place from Friday August 1st to Saturday August 2nd. It was divided to two stages. First one started on Friday 11 pm, while second one started on Saturday 9 am. There were 42 teams on the start; half Czech, half Polish and even one team from Lithuania.
