Brisbane Shines for Teva

The new site provided some all new challenges never before seen at the Teva Adventure Series including a giant 50m slide, a 20m abseil, and the Race Elements ‘Datto’ car pull. And amongst all the adventure Team Mountain Designs once again continued their winning Streak taking out the Premier Mixed Category on the day. But not only was it a day for adventure and outstanding physical performances, many of our teams shone in many other ways which captured the essence of what the Teva Adventure Series is all about!

Karingal Scout Camp, just 45 minutes south of Brisbane CBD played host to a day of adventure, mayhem and fun as teams lined up for round 4 of the Teva Adventure Series 2008. After a series where we’ve had rain, hail, wind and even snow, it was time for the sun to shine as a beautiful day dawned over Karingal Scout Camp.

However, the fine weather didn’t calm team’s nerves as they lined up at registration, wondering exactly what was in store. They were soon to find out and the puzzled looks about what ‘Ups or Down’s’ held in store, and teams wondering exactly what they had to Pick, Pull or Pop in the Pick It, Pull It and Pop It Challenges!

The Dash 4 the Stash proved popular at Brisbane and we overheard a number of phone calls with people phoning home to work out what ‘Roman 50’ was and the significance in the words of ‘Cash’ to try and discover the secret locations of the hidden stash!
