Go Natural Multisport
Did he say Daddo, and Four Fingers

I found myself in this position , ie awake at a shade after 4am due to my inquisitive nature in checking out the entry list of the Go Natural Multisport, i had too many mates racing not to turn up and have a go, i called Katrin van der Spiegel who was unable to race due to MTB commitments and checked if she still had an entry for sale, she did, so the deal was done.
So no sooner was breaky downed i was dressed in race gear and headed out the door, i hit the outside temp button on my car, phew it was warm 6 degrees, thank god. 6.30am after a quick stop at work i pulled into Akuna Bay after descending into the valley shrowded in an fog. I am familiar with the event, road bike, paddle, run, 32, 12 and 12k in that order, but the worst bit was the run, or had been , i had done the event 3 times before, 4hrs 11min, 07min and 28min and in 2008 took 2hrs for the run, i was determined that i wouldn’t do that again.
0650am and there is a mad rush for toilets, the queue was probably ten deep and there were some anxious folk, 0700am rolled round and there was a rush for the open start, one rider calling out "hold up, hold up" it hadn’t helped he hadn't long located his craft for the day having flown up from Victoria the previous day.
