Mathieu Hubert from Lille - Northern France - took the first place at the 10th kilometer and led the race until the end to finish in 27h45min. Juan Carlos Pradas (franco spanish runner) and Jean Lafargue took the second place in 30h15min. Yannick Guet is 4th in 32h45min. The race was marked by several withdrawals due to a very difficult course especially in the Wadi Rum desert.
Bruno Spilliaert from Boulogne sur Mer - Northern France - won the 80 Km, a 100% sand race, in 12h32min. Eric Guibbert, Antoine Ballon and Baptiste Georg are 2nd. Cecile Ballon is the first woman to cross the finish line in 16h07min.
