Cambodia: The Ancient Khmer Path
STAGE 5: Challenges in the heat, so today’s stage declared a neutralized stage.
(submitted) / 22.11.2012

Stage 5 today was declared as a neutralized stage.
To give the runners the opportunity to relax from the heat of the last days, GlobalLimits has decided to run no competive stage today and has shortened the stage to 12.7 km. After relaxing in the morning at the spectacular Phnom Kulen Waterfalls the runners ran or walked just 12.7 km downhill. A spectacular view over the valley and the Kulen mountains was waiting for the runners.
After finishing they were brought to the ticket office of Angkor to get their photo pass for the Angkor area tomorrow.
The final stage tomorrow is set for 16.6 km and will be started at 6am.
The finish line will be inside the world heritage site Angkor Wat.
After 5 really tough days in the heat of Cambodia the runners are all in a good shape and looking forward to finishing this stage race.
