Cambodia: The Ancient Khmer Path
GlobalLimits GM Planning 2nd Edition next November & New Stage Race in Bhutan
Jacqueline Windh / 27.11.2012

Well, I am inspired by this event! So much, that I plan to race it next year!
These multi-day ultras are really my thing: they are definitely an athletic challenge, to train well enough beforehand, and take care of yourself well enough on the course, so that you can keep up these distances day after day. But the nightly stops mean that they are still at a pace where you do get to see and experience the country - you don’t feel like you just raced through without getting a feel for where you were.
The second edition of Cambodia: The Ancient Khmer Path, will take place in November, 2013 - exact dates to be announced.
Race Director Stefan founded GlobalLimits in 2011. He says he was inspired to organize it because of the many ultras he has raced in, “some good and some bad.” He uses his experiences from those races in organizing his events now.
“I always try to remember was was important for me as a runner. That starts from information on a professional web page, providing a good package, airport pick-ups, best possible course marking, logistics, outstanding location and others.”
I'm putting November on my calendar, and I'll be watching their website for an upcoming announcement of the exact race dates: http://www.global-limits.com/the-ancient-khmer-path.html.
