The 2014 Gold Rush Mother Lode is going to be a spectacular event and we are super exited to show this course to the world. The Gold Rush Mother Lode is the one of two North American qualifying events in the 2014 Adventure Racing World Series. The terrain in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California is spectacular. The country is rugged with a mix of alpine forest, rugged granite and canyons all above 2000 meters elevation.  The route covers some well known geography, and some very remote and seldom visited areas. Disciplines include flat water paddling, mountain biking, trekking, cross country navigation, and a fixed ropes course. Don't miss this race!

Teams that travel a great distance to this event should plan time to visit nearby scenic attractions such as Lake Tahoe, Yosemite and San Francisco.
