WHAT: The seventh running of the Midwest\'s premiere adventure race. The Berryman Adventure is backwoods adventure racing at it\'s best! 12-hours or 36-hours of continuous adventure racing through some of the most rugged and beautiful land in the Midwest.
WHERE: The National Park Service\'s Big Spring Park, near Van Buren, MO. A beautiful spot for adventure racing with plenty of steep elevation, beautiful spring-fed rivers and miles of backwood forests.
WHEN: September 29-30, 2007
PRIZES: Prizes will be awarded to the winners of the 12-hour and 36-hour courses.
The 2007 Berryman Adventure will take teams through the beautiful and rugged mountains of the Ozarks. Teams of four and two will use their skills, their endurance, and their determination to help push themselves through this grueling course.
As in the past, the top three 4-person coed teams of this year\'s Berryman Adventure 36-hour course will qualify for the 2007 USARA National Championship. This year\'s National Championship will be held in Potosi, Missouri (about 2 1/2 hours North of Van Buren) on November 2-3.
New for 2007, the Berryman Adventure will be a part of the new and exciting Checkpoint Tracker National Points Series. The 36-Hour course will utilize Checkpoint Tracker, an online leaderboard application that will allow your friends and family to watch your team\'s progress during the race!
