A Trail Challenges is a cross-training training event for runners and adventure racers (i.e. non-orienteers) and therefore the routes are designed to be easy (by orienteering standards). The mass start enables those new to navigation to get some help by (hopefully) following someone else who is going in the correct direction!
The events are organised by an orienteering club and therefore each runner gets a professionally made map and is issued with a free hire SI card to record your progress.
Four races are being held on the day, the half-marathon itself, a 12km race, a 6km race and a 2km \'mini\' race for juniors.
Entries in advance are preferred but entry on the day is also available for a high fee.
Please feel free to get in contact if you have any questions.
