We are pleased to be working with Giants Ridge to bring the final race of the Minnesota Adventure Race Series to the Iron Range area. This race has been selected as a national qualifier for the 2009 USARA National Championships. The Wild 24 hour race will be an expedition style event. The race is unsupported (no support crews necessary), all gear and supplies will be moved by race management and volunteers as necessary. The top three finishing 4-person coed teams will qualify for the 2008 USARA National Championship.

Giants Ridge area is home to hiking, mountain biking, downhill and x-country skiing, golfing and more outdoor activities year round. Surrounding the Giants Ridge ski resort is the Superior National Forest, the Embarass Mountain Range, and a multitude of rivers, lakes, and natural marsh wilderness. This 2009 event is planned as a destination race to increase the variety of terrain offered to racers, and give you a true expedition experience.
