ARMex follows a linear course with optional rogaine challenges. The route varies each year and map reading is as important as stamina. Much of Northern Montenegro is uninhabited by humans, although Wolves, Brown Bear, Lynx, Wild Boar and Chamois inhabit the route. ARMex is a non profit event which promotes conservation of the large mammal species. Expect all types of weather, mountainous terrain, forest, plateau grassland and steep canyons.
