Patagonian International Marathon
Length: 26 miles
Location: Chilean Patagonia
The race will be made up of a full distance marathon, run consecutively with a half marathon and 10k, all with the same finish point.
The race will be run on an undulating course starting at Puente Weber and finishing at the Las Torres Hotel, and follow a course which runs alongside the famous multi-coloured lakes of the park and the backdrop of the incredible Torres del Paine. The race will be supporting the Reforestemos Patagonia project, which aims to replant 3 types of native trees throughout areas damaged by human intervention, including wildfires, such as the one which burned over christmas 2012 in this most visited of Chile\'s national parks. By helping to reforest these areas, the marathon hopes to provide threatened wildlife such puma and huemul with a life line to ensure their survival. Trail Running/Walking Entry Fee( USD ) $122.00
