North Amercian Rogaining Championships
Length: 24 hours
Location: Cleman Mountain area
Sixty point-valued checkpoints will be marked on a map of about 200 square km of hilly forest and meadowland terrain. Teams race on foot for the highest score by finding as many as they in any order.
This will be a qualification event for the 2013 and 2014 World Rogaining Championships, taking place in Pskov, Russia and South Dakota, USA, respectively.
Maps are issued at 8:00 a.m. Saturday, and the start of the 24-Hour event is at 11:00 a.m.
