Playing Musical Ranking Chairs

Susan McKenzie / 05.10.2005See All Event Posts Follow Event
Overnight, the top teams played a little game of musical chairs ... and Oskalunga was left standing.

Buff Nike ACG, the Spanish team with French (Benjamin Midena) and American (Shane Sigel) and Spanish blood (Emma Roca and David Rivera is still in the lead) but behind them, Cross Sportswear has moved into second, followed by Merrell Wigwam Adventure.

Clight Salomon Atena, the only team with two men and two women, has jumped right up from sixth to fourth, with Oskalunga, slipping four spots to sixth. DART, Kings, SOLE, Bosi Columbia and Al Aire Libre round out the top ten.

The weather is clearly playing a factor in this race. Yesterday was cold and wet, today it\'s cold, wet and, just to add a bit of fun, really really foggy.

For the international teams, and those with extensive big race experience such as Atena, this kind of weather is business as usual. Not much fun, but they are still more accustomed to it.
