Eco Motion Brazil 2005
Final Rankings

The party\'s over, the busses are packed and the Hotel Serrano has its garage back. EcoMotion 2005 is one for the books.
It was one of the fastest expedition races in recent memory. It began at 4pm Sunday afternoon and Buff Nike ACG was back in Gramado by noon Wednesday, sleeping in warm hotel beds Wednesday night.
It was undobtedly the coldest adventure race ever held in Brazil in terms of temperature. Overnight lows hovered around zero (Celcius) and even the daytime temperatures sometimes barely broke double digits. A few teams even finished in sleet.
The teams that finished sooner had days to kill before the party on Saturday night, and many spent some time shopping (for warmer clothes in general, sweaters and Converse sneakers to bemore specific.) Others went back and did the waterfall rappel they had skipped. Even as some well-rested racers headed off to a pre-party party on Friday night, others were still cycling across the finish line.
