Each day will dawn with new challenges of strenuous single track riding, concentration-commanding trail runs, breath-taking gorge traverses, magnificent river crossings and demanding uphill scrambles.

What are the stages of the Southern Storm?
<li>Day 0 - 19 Sept: Registration and Prologue
<li>Day 1 - 20 Sept: Otter Run - African Trail Run, Storms River to Natures Valley
<li>Day 2 - 21 Sept: Natures Valley to Plettenberg Bay
<li>Day 3 - 22 Sept: Plettenberg Bay to Knysna
<li>Day 4 - 23 Sept: Knysna to Sedgefield
<li>Day 5 - 24 Sept: Sedgefield to Wilderness
How will the race be timed?
<li>Athletes enter as individuals and will be timed individually (Male & Female Athletes will be ranked separately).
<li>Split times and accumulative times will be posted each night in the Race Village.
<li>Final results will be based on accumulative overall time.

What is the format of the event?
The Southern Storm is a 5-day Duathlon. The event will include a combination of MTB and Running Legs as participants will traverse the soon to be proclaimed Garden Route National Park from East to West.
